Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a disorder that can affect person's ability to focus, manage time, and control impulses. There is no cure for ADHD, but it can be effectively managed with the right treatment plan. Finding the right ADHD treatment plan involves a comprehensive evaluation, considering individual needs, and affective  approach that may include medication, therapy, lifestyle changes, and support.ADHD affect everyone differently, so there’s no particular treatment for all. Your treatment plan will depend on many things, which include how the disorder affects your life, other health problems you have.

1.     Comprehensive evaluation:

A comprehensive evaluation is very Important to identify the type of ADHD, the severity of symptoms, and the presence of any co-existing conditions that may affect treatment options. The evaluation may include a physical exam, a neurological exam, a psychological evaluation, and interviews with family members, teachers, and the person with ADHD.

2.     Medication:

Stimulant medications, such as methylphenidate and amphetamines, are often the first-line treatment for ADHD. They work by increasing the levels of dopamine and norepinephrine in the brain, which can improve focus, attention, and impulse control. In people with ADHD, these types of stimulants produce a very effective calming effect. Norepinephrine is said to help with attention and memory.

It can also help them to control some of the irrational thought patterns that always prevent them from focus on task.
  • Behavior therapy:The important of behavior therapy is teaching someone how to put their behaviors on check and then change any negative behaviors.It help you to develop strategies on how you behave,react and response to certain situations. These strategies always involve some direct feedback to help you  learn good and suitable behaviors.

ADHD may also make you to always have issues with peers,it has a way of creating problem between you and your friends. Certain lifestyle changes can help manage symptoms of ADHD. These may include creating a structured routine, getting regular exercise, getting enough sleep, and eating a healthy diet.   • Striving to succeed: Create flexible situations in a way that allows your child to find his way to success.Allow them to have only one or two playmates at a time so that they won't lose focus on things that really matters.
  • Managing stress: Use methods such as meditation, yoga,relaxation techniques, and exercise to help them manage stress.

6.     Nutrition and Supplements:

It is important to change your daily food choices and increase the consumption of certain nutrients that are ADHD friendly such as fish oil, the minerals zinc, iron, and magnesium and also adding protein and complex carbohydrates to your diet, can help your brain to  function more effectively and it also reduce mood swings.Fruits should also be an essential part of your diet all the time.

7.     Coaching:

An ADHD coach knows about the specific, every challenges people with the condition face and can help them to develop the skills to help them overcome those problems.It is the duty of the coach may help you do the following:

  • Develop good structures that would help organize your life
  • Make plans and help you set goals
  • Help you to always get and stay motivated
  • Help you develop time and money management skills

Some coaches can make out time to meet with their clients weekly; others make regular contact through phone. Still others meet with clients in their various homes to help with some specific tasks, like organizing papers work or working on social skills.
